  Decent buffet breakfast. Food was fresh, service was pretty good, but the $35 price per person is steep to say the least.

  At $80 per head, you would expect a lot more. Boring interior that desperately needs a refresh. Salad was not fresh, vegetables were over cooked, fries tasted like they were the frozen type, and the bread was burnt. The one star goes to the staff who work here - they were attentive and friendly and the only highlight about coming here. Don’t waste your money.

  Breakfast at Essence was an absolute pleasure. The service was top class and the food even better! We were shown to our table which was by the front window and were treated like royalty,
  The breakfast and presumably all day restaurant for marriott. Just like the hotel, a simple 4 star set-up
  being vegetarian, was very limited, but chief chef made my day preparing fantastic Indian cottage curry with Indian bread .. it was so delicious..!! Thank you Mr David..

  Have eaten here for lunch and dinner multiple times and it has always been excellent. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the food fantastic. Highly recommended
